7 Wonders: Edifice adds new communal building projects to 7 Wonders. Each Age, when players complete a stage of their wonder, they can choose to pay the edifice cost in addition to their wonder to take a progress token. 

As soon as all of the progress tokens have been taken, the building is built, and all players who contributed get the listed reward. However, if the end of the Age is reached before the edifice is built, each player who doesn't have a progress token takes a penalty for not contributing to the community. 

In addition to this new concept, two new wonders are also included in the expansion. Ur (which can only be used with the entire Edifice expansion, and Carthage, which can be used in any of your 7 Wonders games.
