Los Angeles. The City of Angels, and full of anything but. Crime rules the neon nights, clinging to shadows like cigarette tar in lungs - and bleeds the life from its people just as surely. There's always another case - and in your line of work, you won't live long enough to see the bottom of that stack.
Based on the 1982 cult classic, Blade Runner RPG is a portal into a cyberpunk near-future setting in which players are cast as Blade Runners: LAPD officers tasked with hunting down and "retiring" replicants - synthetic humans. Assassination is only a part of your job, hewever: there's always another atrocity to address.
Blade Runner RPG uses the Year Zero play engine and is set in the year 2037, right in the middle of the two canonical movies' settings. Players will face moral dilemmas, solve mysteries and attempt to maintain order, and attempt to define what it means to be human. This Core Rulebook has everything you'll need to get started, including:
- Mechanics of character creation, general gameplay, and combat
- Cases that go beyond hunting and killing replicants
- Locations and their lore, building a tangible world to interact with
and more!
