In Captain Sonar, you and your friends take on the roles of crew members aboard a submarine deep in the ocean. Attempt to locate and blow the enemy submarine out of the water before it can do the same to you. All the members of a team sit on one side of the table, with the other team on the other. Each crew member is assigned a special role, such as the captain, the chief mate, the radio operator, or the engineer. Multiple maps are included for varying difficulty levels, and the game can either be played with each team taking their turns in order, or teams taking term simultaneously.
