CATAN is a resource management game in which players try to be the dominant force on the island by building settlements, cities, and roads. On each turn dice are rolled to determine what resources the island produces. Players collect these resources (cards)—wood, grain, brick, sheep, or stone—to build up their civilizations.  You must work together in some instances and share resources in order to benefit everyone.  The first to 10 Victory Points wins!

This edition introduces some adjustments to the rulebook for ease of learning, including more imagery for visual learners.  Players can also enjoy revamped artwork on the components and cover, as well as card sorters to hold your piles while you play!

Future CATAN Expansions will be based on this edition of the game!
