Hive: Ladybug Expansion adds a new player piece to both sides of the core Hive gameplay. The Ladybug piece can move 2 spaces on top of the hive, and then one space down. She must move 2 spaces up and one space down, but unlike the Beetle, she doesn't block pieces, rather she has the advantage of speed on her side. 

The expansion is exclusively for the core Hive game, the Ladybug is already included in Hive: Carbon and Hive: Pocket Edition.
