This standalone sequel to Sleeping Gods takes place in the same universe and uses many of the same mechanics, like the exploration and quest system from the orignal game. It also adds on plenty of new mechanics, like a new action point system and combat deck, as well as a brand new story to explore. Although it builds on elements found in the original story of Sleeping Gods, you do not need to have played it in order to enjoy the mechanics and story of Distant Skies.
