Splendor: The Sun Never Sets is an expansion for Splendor that adds two modules to your games. 

The first module is the Strongholds, which allow you to place bastions onto cards in the market. If one of your strongholds is on a card, only you can purchase or reserve that card! Other players will also be placing their strongholds and you'll have the ability to destroy your opponents strongholds to make cards available to everyone again! 

In the second module allows you to access the trade routes of Asia. Each level of cards has an additional deck that represents the region, and your market will be filled with cards from both level decks! The cards from the new Asia decks are powerful assets in the game, some of them giving you free gold to spend on a future purchase, while others, when purchased, can immediately score you another card from the market, for free! 

Both of these modules can be played individually, together, or combined with other Splendor expansions to liven up your gem collecting games!
