The world's largest partical accelerator was created in 1969 under the Swedish town of Mälaröarna.  Locals called it 'The Loop'.  It's now the late '80s, and you and your teenaged friends face not only the burdens of everyday life, but also the mysteries and mayhem that The Loop brings. 

Tales from the Loop is an RPG set in an alternate reality where '80s futurism meets both coming-of-age and mystery.  Players choose between adventuring in the Swedish Mälaren Islands or the Boulder City, Nevada.  Pick your archetypes and ages, construct a hideout, build out your own personal mysteries, and discuss your group dynamics as you solidify the ties that bind your band together.  Then, the real chaos begins!

What are all these creatures wandering about?  Why are the machines behaving strangely?  And what, exactly, is The Loop?  No one will tell you, of course - you're just kids.  But these 'just kids' aren't content to sit around waiting for answers that may never come...
