How will you use it?

Welcome to the Second Edition of the Urban Shadows RPG!  This is an urban fantasy game that uses the Powered by the Apocalypse game engine.  It takes place in a city where the mortal world walks a hair's breadth from the magical one, and the machinations that rule it.  Players choose from a variety of 'archetypes', and from these you can build your individual character: from 'The Vamp' as a blood-dealing tycoon with a few too many enemies, to 'The Fae' as a tagger who somehow knows everyone who's anyone - the city is your oyster! 

This over 250 page book comes with everything you need to get started, including character playbooks, Circle and debt moves, necessary lore, guides to building your city, and quick-play rules.

The Second Edition reworks a few areas:

  • Revised Playbooks and Basic Moves
  • Changing 'Factions' to 'Circles'
  • Added a 'downtime' phase
