The light pulses through the water’s surface, fractals dancing through the murk pulled from waves crashing on rocky shores.  Its glow drew you up from the frigid depths of your home.  Someone tends to that light, puttering about their spire rising above the waves in solitude.  

You Have Always Lived in the Lighthouse is a two-player RPG with no GM designed to create real conversation between two opposing roles: The Keeper, a person who tends to a lonely lighthouse with their own reasons for living such a solitary life, and The Creature, a being that came from the depths of the ocean.  

Players use a standard deck of 52 cards to guide their story, and without a GM to determine outcomes, players are both equally enabled in introducing conflict and resolutions as they guide their tale.
