In Beast, take on the role of either the mysterious and powerful beast, set on taking back nature from the settlers, or one of the hunters, specialised killers trained to take down the beast. One player plays the Beast, who secretly moves throughout the forests, swamps, and mountains plotting the right time to strike. The rest are the hunters, who must work together to play action cards from their hands in order to attempt to find where the beast is and kill it. Each round players, including the beast, draft action cards from a shared pool of cards, and then get the chance to play up to two cards per turn.
